Gov. Laura Kelly announced Thursday that she will keep Donald Brownlee as the executive director of the Kansas Racing and Gaming Commission.
Brownlee has been the executive director of the commission for three years. He has fifteen years of regulatory experience with both the lottery and tribal-owned casinos. Previously, he served as the superintendent of the Kansas Highway Patrol.
“Don Brownlee’s strong background and experience with state regulations, law enforcement, and the Racing and Gaming Commission makes him a great choice to continue leading this agency,” Kelly said. “We are excited to have him on board and look . . .
