Although she may not be the most well-known of the gubernatorial hopefuls, Democratic state Sen. Laura Kelly enjoys the highest popularity of any candidate in this year’s Kansas governor’s race.
A new poll out by Fort Hays State University’s Docking Institute of Public Affairs shows that Kelly received ratings of “somewhat positive” or “highly positive” from 52 percent of the Kansas adult residents who recognized her name in the survey.
