Democrat Laura Kelly mounted the offensive against Republican Kris Kobach during a debate Thursday night, challenging how the secretary of state plans to cut taxes and fund core services if he's elected governor.
Twice during the debate in Garden City, Kelly pressed Kobach to answer how he will cut taxes, similar to former Gov. Sam Brownback, without hurting basic services.
