Kelly administration takes shape with key appointments


Gov.elect-Laura Kelly's administration started taking shape Tuesday with the hiring of a new general counsel and directors of policy, legislative affairs and appointment.

Kelly turned to some familiar statehouse hands, including the chief of staff for the House minority leader, a former top aide to Democrat Paul Davis and a seasoned Democratic operative with experience in state government.

Kelly announced that she has hired Clay Britton from the U.S. attorney's office to serve as her general counsel.
