After more than two years, the Kansas Supreme Court announced it would hand down an historic ruling on Friday that will decide whether the state Constitution protects the right to an abortion.
The court issued a brief statement late Thursday afternoon saying the ruling in the long-awaited case would be issued at about 9:30 a.m. Friday. The Supreme Court held oral arguments in the case in March of 2017.
