Kansas Attorney General Kris Kobach is lining up behind Tennessee in its defense of a state law banning surgery and the use of puberty blockers for treating transgender adolescents.
Kobach joined with 21 other states in a brief supporting Tennessee as it defends its law before the U.S. Supreme Court. In question is whether the law violates the Equal Protection Clause of the 14th Amendment.
