The Kansas Chamber of Commerce's political action committee on Wednesday came out in support of Republican Kris Kobach for governor.
The chamber PAC's endorsement gives the secretary of state support from a key segment of the Kansas businesses community that he doesn't always agree with on issues such as workers compensation.
The chamber praised Kobach for his support of policies important to Kansas businesses, including tax cuts, a constitutional amendment limiting the courts' role in deciding education funding cases, "fair regulations," and other policies making it easier to run a company.
