The Kansas Chamber of Commerce today announced its first round of endorsements for the upcoming legislative primaries set for Aug. 7.
The endorsements were based on several factors that included candidate surveys and scorecards based on legislators' voting history relating to policies and issues important to the Kansas business community.
The chamber did not endorse any candidates for statewide office or in any of the congressional races for the primary. It also left open the possibility it might in endorse in more House races. Stay tuned.
