Judge tosses two western Kansas elections


It's rare enough to throw out an election in Kansas.

It may even be more extraordinary to throw out two elections.

But so it is in western Kansas, where a judge has tossed two elections because of errors in how they were carried out.

Rice County District Judge Steve Johnson has voided two elections from Nov. 2, a race for Chase City Council and a ballot question for the Little River-Windom School District.
