Republican state Sen. Julia Lynn will get to make her case Friday on why her name should be removed from the ballot for the general election.
Shawnee County District Judge Thomas Luedke has set a hearing for 9 a.m. Friday for Lynn's petition to withdraw from the ballot in her race against Democrat Stacey Knoell.
Luedke was appointed to the bench in 2018 by former Gov. Jeff Colyer.
