House Dems hire new political director

House Democrats have hired Wichita political strategist Levi Henry as their new political director going into the 2024 elections.

Vic Miller, the top Democrat in the House, announced the hiring to members of the Democratic caucus in an email obtained by the Sunflower State Journal.

"I have known Levi for almost 20 years. He is experienced, clever and laser-focused on seeing us to 42+ seats," Miller wrote, alluding to the number of seats needed to break the Republican supermajority in the House.
