As political fundraising comes to a close for 2025, Democratic state Sen. Cindy Holscher came up with an idea to raise some last-minute cash for her race for governor.
Holscher posted an item on Facebook saying that contributions to her campaign would give donors a chance to win an autographed copy of Taylor Swift's latest album, "The Life of a Showgirl."
It's the type of idea that has gotten candidates in trouble before since, under state law, only charitable organizations can host raffles.
