Hoheisel apologizes to House, says incident with Carr ‘overstated’

Republican state Rep. Nick Hoheisel is apologizing to the House for any inconvenience or distractions that an incident with Democratic state Rep. Ford Carr on the House floor may have caused a little more than a week ago.

Hoheisel's apology was contained in his response to a complaint Carr lodged last week. The complaint is now being investigated by a special House committee.

Hoheisel said he believes the facts of what happened on the morning of Feb. 20 have been "significantly overstated," although . . .
