The battle over the Gadsden flag isn't over yet.
After a spirited debate in the Senate, another vigorous debate is expect in the House when it considers a bill that would allow the flag's logo - known for its coiled snake and “Don’t Tread on Me” motto - to be used as a distinctive license plate.
The bill also authorizes distinctive Braden’s Hope for Childhood Cancer license plates, proud educator license plates, Alpha Kappa Alpha license plates and a plate for the Delta Sigma Theta, a sorority found at Howard University.
