Former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley on Wednesday morning endorsed Republican Attorney General Derek Schmidt for governor.
“AG Schmidt’s a pro-law and order, pro-2A, pro-small business freedom fighter who has taken Biden to court—and won," Haley said in a statement.
"As governor, he’ll be a strong voice for the people of Kansas, and make sure his state is free from Washington's liberal overreach," the former South Carolina governor said.
Haley's endorsement comes as Schmidt is trying to batten down his right flank as he faces the insurgent independent . . .
