Former state lawmaker and Kansas lottery director Dennis Wilson died Friday.
Freedom Bank, where Wilson served on the board, announced the former legislator's passing on Facebook late Friday night.
"Freedom Bank's directors felt a deep sense of pride having such a gentleman among our ranks," the financial institution posted.
"He was a loyal friend, mentor and supporter of our enterprise, for which we will be forever grateful.
"His dedication to countless friends he made and his love for his wife Vicki and their wonderful family was deep and genuine.He was a role model for a life well . . .
