Former Republican National Committeewoman Helen Van Etten announced Tuesday night that she would run for chair of the state Republican Party.
"Kansas Republicans are excited, energized, and eager to defeat the Democrats and their radical agenda this November," Van Etten said in a Facebook post.
"I hope to build on that momentum after the election and grow our Kansas Republican Party so we continue to elect strong conservative Republicans up and down the ballot going forward," Van Etten said.
