Leading lawmakers appear to have reached an agreement on tax cuts with Gov. Laura Kelly as the Legislature nears convening in a special session next week.
The Sunflower State Journal has obtained a copy of a document circulated to lawmakers on Thursday that spells out the details of a new tax plan that is expected to be considered next week when lawmakers convene in a special session.
There was one caution flag raised about the document as it related to whether the local ad valorem tax reduction fund would be repealed. A top Republican said it would be repealed, although . . .
