Democrats outspend Republicans on TV in governor’s race


Democratic television sending outpaced Republicans' by about $1.4 million in the Kansas governor's race with the total ad buy reaching nearly $9.5 million, according to an internal campaign document.

A report compiled by the media-buying arm of Axiom Strategies of Kansas City lays out the spending in the Kansas governor's race between Democrat Laura Kelly and Republican Kris Kobach.

It did not reflect any spending from independent Greg Orman, who has been off the airwaves since about mid-September . . .
