Colyer nominates new KCC commissioner

Governor Jeff Colyer on Friday nominated oil executive Dwight Keen of Winfield to serve as a commissioner on the Kansas Corporation Commission.

"Dwight has a wealth of experience in both the public and private sector," Colyer said in a statement. "I am confident that this expertise, combined with his forward-thinking mindset will make him an incredible asset to the KCC."

Keen, co-owner and operations manager of Keen Oil Co. in Winfield, has served as Kansas securities Commissioner and chairman of the board of the Kansas Independent Oil and Gas Association. He also served five years on the Kansas . . .
