Former Kansas Gov. Jeff Colyer on Monday intervened in intraparty politics for the second time, supporting Congressman Roger Marshall in the GOP primary for U.S. Senate
Colyer chose Marshall over former Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach, Senate President Susan Wagle and former Johnson County Commissioner Dave Lindstrom.
Colyer said Marshall is the best GOP candidate who can win a general election against likely Democratic rival state Sen. Barbara Bollier. He said Marshall offers the best contrast that Republicans have to the Democratic candidate.
Colyer's endorsement marks the second time the former governor has entered into Republican primary . . .
