Coalition discloses members campaigning for constitutional amendment on schools

A coalition leading a campaign for a constitutional amendment on school funding revealed its members Monday afternoon, just before the Kansas House was set to take up a plan that would add $522 million for schools.

The Kansas Coalition for Fair Funding unveiled its members to include a mix of agriculture, contracting, oil and gas as well as other business interests.

It's made up of the Kansas Contractors Association, the Kansas Farm Bureau,  the Kansas Chamber of Commerce, the  Kansas Livestock Association, Petroleum Marketers and Convenience Store Association and American Warrior, an oil and gas company.
