Capitol Strategies, one of the most established lobbying firms in Topeka, is adding two new lobbyists to its roster.
The firm announced that it's hiring former Republican state Rep. Brad Ralph of Dodge City and Alana Zimmer, a Republican who served on the Kansas Lottery Commission and was secretary of the Kansas Republican Party.
Ralph is moving into the lobbying ranks after serving in the Kansas Legislature for six years before he was defeated by Jason Goetz in the Aug. 2 GOP primary.
Ralph's work in the Legislature included serving as vice chair of the House Judiciary . . .
