DeAngela Burns-Wallace is leaving Gov. Laura Kelly's administration, marking the second major departure from the governor's staff as she heads into her second term.
Burns-Wallace has led the Department of Administration since her appointment in June 2019 and also has served as the state's chief technology officer. She also oversaw the Office of Information Technology.
She plans to spend time with her family before going back to teaching next year.
