Former Kansas Gov. Sam Brownback is taking a rare step back into Kansas politics since leaving public life, coming out in support of Jeff Kahrs in the race for the Kansas 2nd Congressional District seat.
"Jeff was a trusted and valuable member of my administration and worked hard to protect vulnerable Kansans," Brownback said in a statement released by the Kahrs campaign Tuesday morning.
"I am confident he will be a strong representative for the 2nd District and conservative Kansas values,” Brownback said.
