Former Johnson County Commissioner Mike Brown was able to raise enough money to start a broadcast campaign Monday, criticizing a comment incumbent Secretary of State Scott Schwab made in an email about "bad actors."
The ad started running Monday and is part of a $14,000 ad buy that the Brown campaign placed in the Wichita market in the closing days of the Republican primary for secretary of state.
It features a statement Schwab made in an email where he talked about "foreign and domestic bad actors" trying to "create conflict and undermine trust in our elections with phony news . . .
