A Douglas County judge has denied a temporary injunction blocking a new state law banning transgender people from using restrooms and locker rooms in government buildings that don’t correspond with their biological sex and requiring driver’s licenses to reflect someone’s biological sex at birth.
District Judge James McCabria found that the case was moving at such a high speed that there was not enough information to show that the law requires an injunction as requested by two transgender Lawrence men who are represented in a lawsuit brought . . .
