Meanwhile, three Democratic candidates awaiting for a general election opponent - U.S. Senate candidate Barbara Bollier, Congresswoman Sharice Davids and Topeka Mayor Michelle De La Isla - continue to amass cash as they watch and wait.
Candidates on Thursday filed their pre-primary reports with Congressman Roger Marshall leading all GOP U.S. Senate candidates but still far behind Bollier.
