The Kansas Legislature early Friday morning passed a bill barring any government or public official in Kansas from ordering mask mandates in response to a contagious or infectious disease.
The Senate passed the bill on 23-17 vote early Friday morning. The House passed the bill Friday night on a 64-53 vote.
