Attorney general makes case for Lynn withdrawal

Kansas Attorney General Derek Schmidt on Thursday argued why a judge should accept state Sen. Julia Lynn's medical hardship case so she can withdraw from the general election ballot.

Schmidt filed a brief in the lawsuit that Lynn brought last week to get off the ballot in the race for Senate District 9.

He is asking the court to consider the brief as part of the legal . . .
