The American Conservative Fund, a group financed by sports betting platforms, ended up spending almost $800,000 on eight legislative races during the primary, a new campaign finance report revealed on Thursday.
The group filed a report showing it spent about $309,200 for the period covering July 24 through Oct. 22, bringing it's total for the primary to about $795,270. It filed a report before the primary showing it spent $486,070 . . .
