Senate Majority Leader Larry Alley is recovering from injuries he received from a car wreck that occurred in Cowley County on Wednesday night.
Eric Rucker, Alley's chief of staff, said the senator and his wife were involved in the wreck that occurred when a vehicle pulled out in front of him on U.S. 77.
Rucker said Alley was hospitalized after the wreck. The senator's wife was not injured in the wreck, which occurred at about 8:30 p.m.
The senator suffered small fractures in his neck, but it did not involve his spinal cord, said Kathy . . .
