Let's get the debate about the debate out of the way.
Congresswoman Sharice Davids and Republican challenger Amanda Adkins have agreed to a virtual debate at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 22 sponsored by the Olathe NAACP, a campaign official said Thursday morning.
Adkins' campaign manager, Matt Patterson, confirmed the debate. He said an official announcement is expected later Thursday.
The debate will be held via Zoom, much to the dismay of the Adkins campaign,
"We wanted it to be live and in person," Patterson said.
