House Majority Leader Chris Croft, in line to potentially be speaker of the Kansas House, is drawing a Democratic opponent for the third consecutive year.
Megan Phillips, a licensed clinical psychologist and behavioral health executive of Overland Park is lining up to run against Croft in House District 8.
She appointed a treasurer to start raising money on Tuesday.
The Democrats have tried in 2022 and 2024 to defeat Croft and came up short.
