Kansans are gambling more than they were almost a decade ago and a larger percentage are at a higher risk of being problem gamblers, a new study shows.
The study also provides some insights into how often Kansans are betting on sports, suggesting that the general public is still concerned about potential risks.
Many surveyed believed that sports wagering - enacted in Kansas in 2022 - was a "great" form of entertainment but believed it should be regulated to prevent gambling harms.
