A federal judge on Monday denied a request from an abortion-rights group to immediately block a new state law that bans foreign money from flowing into campaigns for state constitutional amendments.

U.S. District Judge Dan Crabtree ruled against a request for a preliminary injunction from  Kansans for Constitutional Freedom. The law is set to start July 1.
