House Democrats on Monday morning announced their committee assignments for the upcoming 2022 session with two new ranking members appointed to committees.
Rep. Mari-Lynn Poskin of Overland Park will now serve as the ranking member on the Transportation and Public Safety Budget Committee.
Rep. Lindsay Vaughn of Overland Park will now serve as the ranking member on the Water Committee.
Rep. Susan Ruiz of Shawnee will move from ranking member on the veterans committee over to ranking committee member on health.
And Rep. Virgil Weigel of Topeka will now serve as ranking member on veterans after being the ranking . . .
