Incoming House Minority Leader Brandon Woodard on Wednesday announced the hiring of a new communications director for the Democratic caucus.
Woodard has named Nicole Norvell to lead digital and media strategy for the caucus to communicate priorities and legislative victories to Kansans.
Norvell previously served as multistate and federal government affairs associate at Catalyst Strategic Government Affairs, which last year joined up with 1861 Consulting.
Last year, 1861 Consulting folded under the umbrella of Catalyst, a Kansas City-based firm that provides government consulting services in Missouri, Texas and California.
