Embattled Republican Congressman Steve Watkins on Friday released a poll showing him out in front of GOP challenger Jake LaTurner in the Kansas 2nd District.
The poll of 594 likely Republican primary voters showed Watkins with support from 49% of those surveyed, compared to 23% for LaTurner, the Kansas treasurer. Twenty-eight percent of those polled were undecided.
The poll by the Kansas City firm co/Efficient had a margin of error of plus or minus 4.4 percentage . . .
