Republican state Sen. Kellie Warren launched the first ad in what is so far is at least a half-million dollar broadcast campaign in the GOP primary for Kansas attorney general.
Warren's new ad was introduced Tuesday morning on Wichita television. It is part of an overall $227,000 statewide broadcast ad buy.
She portrays herself as a wife and mom and a "successful attorney and a battle-tested conservative as a senator."
She boasts of stopping Gov. Laura Kelly's COVID-19 mandates and lockdowns to "protect your freedoms and our economy."
And she takes a backhanded shot . . .
