United Kansas Party candidate files for House; two Democrats file in JoCo

A founder of a new political party in Kansas announced Thursday that he was running for the Kansas House along with two Democrats who officially filed to run in Johnson County.

Aaron Estabrook, who helped start the United Kansas Party in 2024, announced Monday he was running for House District 66, which includes part of Manhattan.

The 66th House District is now represented by Democratic state Rep. Sydney Carlin of Manhattan.
