Top House staffer departs for credit union association


Chief of staff for outgoing House Speaker Pro Tem Blaine Finch is leaving the Capitol for the Heartland Credit Union Association.

Michael Murray is joining the credit union association as director of legislative and political affairs after working the last four years in the Capitol.

He replaces Stephanie Mullholland, who recently moved over to the Kansas Contractors Association to lead its marketing and membership efforts.

Murray previously worked in the Senate as the chief of staff for Senate Vice President Jeff Longbine before moving to the House to work for Finch in 2020.
