Sunflower Sunday Reader: ACLU spends $200,000 on governor’s race; Candidates address KCC appointments; No place like Kansas

Good morning:

Let's get a couple key things out of the way this morning. Kansas tips at 6 p.m. Tuesday night against Michigan State (on ESPN), an hour before polls close. So for you KU fans, you will likely get to watch most of the game before election results come rolling in. And for you Wichita State fans, your team starts its season at 7 p.m. Tuesday against Louisiana Tech. Kansas State doesn't play until Friday.

Now onto more important matters — like the election.
