Good morning everyone:

It's over.

The Kansas Legislature wrapped up its 2021 session early Saturday morning, ending a sometimes tumultuous four months or so that found several lawmakers facing legal trouble.

The Legislature ended with the customary around-the-clock marathon that typifies the closing days of any session.

We arrived at home shortly after 4:30 a.m. Saturday after making two somewhat abbreviated stops to rest our eyes.

We're just glad to be home with Mrs. SSJ and our two wonderful pups, who we would just love to have at the Capitol as we plow through . . .
