Good morning everyone:

It was quite a dizzying week. Despite going about 37 hours with just about four hours of shuteye, we were able to cash in on Mrs. SSJ's Valentine's Day gift to see The Elders, KC's premier Irish folk/rock band, Friday night at Knuckleheads.

It was a long day that started at about 8 a.m. Thursday and didn't really end until about midnight Friday — except for a little sleep from about 5 a.m. to 8 a.m. Friday after the Legislature adjourned. We checked out of our "office" at the Ramada . . .
