Last week, Mrs. SSJ and I celebrated the 12th anniversary of our engagement. Fair enough to say that she recalled the anniversary of that most fabulous night in the spring of 2013 and not me. It truly was one of the biggest days our lives, short of actually getting married seven months later. I asked her to marry me at our favorite Brookside restaurant, Carmen's, an intimate Italian restaurant that we frequent to this day.
