Good morning:
The pace of the news last week stepped up a bit from the week before. Not so much of a snoozer as tension heated up again between Democratic Gov. Laura Kelly and Republican leadership in the Legislature.
The good news is it appears that baseball will be back, although under somewhat of a shadow as the coronavirus continues hanging over us all and still could derail any type of season. And let's be honest, it won't really be the same with a 60-game schedule and novel rules like allowing runners to start at second base . . .
