It was an explosive end of the news week, with Kris Kobach announcing his candidacy for attorney general and the arrest of state Rep. Mark Samsel after an incident that occurred while he was working as a substitute teacher at Wellsville High School. Beyond that, it was kind of a quiet news week, so this week's roundup will seem a little slim. Next week's will undoubtedly be more robust with the Legislature's wrapup session.
