Study says Kansas is ninth hardest state for voting; Kobach says research slants left

Kansas has tumbled down the national list from being one of the easier states to vote in to one of the hardest, a new study says.

A new study from researchers at the University of Northern Illinois shows that Kansas ranks ninth out of 50 states when it comes to the difficulty of casting a ballot. Hardest state to vote in? Mississippi. Easiest state? Oregon.

Oregon has allowed voting by mail since 2000 and two years ago . . .
