Incoming Senate Vice President Tim Shallenburger on Sunday announced the hiring of two new staffers.
Shallenburger has hired Jackson McKechnie as director of constituent services and Tyler Seeley as chief of staff.
McKechnie is a former legislative intern for Shallenburger and a current student at Emporia State University.
During the 2024 election cycle, McKechnie volunteered for former Attorney General Derek Schmidt's successful congressional campaign in the 2nd District.
Seeley is a former legislative intern for House Appropriations Committee Chair Troy Waymaster and a recent graduate of Tabor College.
